Computer Science & Informatics Practices (Half-yearly Practical Examination (Exam time: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. , 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) of class 11 and The Science Skill Test (Half-yearly examination) for classes 9 & 10 has been rescheduled to 30.8.2008 (Exam time : 7.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m.).

ASSET – The Diagnostic Assessment Programme for school going Children – By Educational Initiatives

Kindly refer to the earlier circular dated 7th April, 2008 regarding the conducting of the ASSET Test in school, which is a diagnostic assessment for your child.

The school management is convinced of the quality & importance of this ASSET Test for each student of Classes VI to VIII from our school. As such we recommend that your child avails this opportunity and appears for the ASSET test in the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science. We are extending the date for the confirmation of participation in the same, as we feel that it will be beneficial to your child to avail of this opportunity.

Please send a letter of consent as given below (duly signed) along with a participation fee of Rs 300/- to the respective Class Teachers, latest by 2nd July, 2008 ( Wednesday) The test will be conducted in school itself on the 6th August, 2008 (Wednesday ) tentatively, during school hours.

Re: Change of school timings from the new academic year

This is to inform you that from the coming academic year, starting 1st April,’08, there will be a change in the school timings. Kindly note the following changes:

• The school will be changing over to a five day week (Saturday & Sunday will be school holidays). Classes will be held Monday through Friday, however, on some Saturdays, school will function as a working day, if necessary and attendance will be compulsory on these Saturdays.
• To accommodate a five day week, the following changes are necessary :-

The faith in our capability to give the best is reinforced by the ever increasing eagerness of parents/guardians to seek admission of their wards in our School. As you are all conscious and hence needless to remind that every endeavour has a cost and academic pursuit is no exception. So reviewal, revision and upgradation of this cost factor is a constant process to be reckoned with for uninterrupted maintenance and upkeeping of the quality of education.

So for keeping the all round development of the school unabated, the change of the present fee structure has become necessary.

After careful consideration of all aspects including statutory obligations, the management have decided to revise the fee structure in the following heads only, to be effective from the academic session 2008-2009, commencing April 2008 and until further notice.

This is to notify further that the existing scheme of awarding scholarships and due observance of statutes will remain in force from time to time.
