NOTICE

Dear Parents / Guardians


Kindly note that remedial classes for Class-6 students are beginning from 9th January, 2012. A schedule has been put up on the Class Notice Board. Students are expected to copy their own schedule and attend classes according to it. Please check your ward’s diary if he has been an underachiever in any subject in any term.

Classes will be after school from 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. These classes will be beneficial for the students, so please make it convenient for them to attend.

The Annual Sports of our school will be held on Friday, 9^th December 2011 (Heats) and Saturday, 10^th December (Final), 2011 from 8.00 a.m. onwards at Rabindra Sarovar Stadium, Sarat Chatterjee Avenue, Kolkata - 700029.

 

You are requested to note the following points and help us make our Annual Sports a great success.

Reporting time

8.00 a.m. at the Rabindra Sarovar Stadium Ground (9^th & 10^th December 2011)

 

Dispersal time from Rabindra Sarovar Stadium Ground

On 9^th December 2011 : 2.00  p.m.

On 10^th December 2011 : 2.30 p.m.

 

1. Attendance for the boys of classes 6 to 12 participating in any event (including March Past, Drill, Yoga, Karate, sports event etc.) is compulsory on the 9^th & 10^th December 2011. Severe action will be taken if any boy absents himself.

 

2. All students from classes 6 to 12 participating in sports events will go to the venue directly.

 

3. Students must reach the sports ground by 8.00 a.m. and will not be allowed to leave till the end of the day’s programme. Parents are not permitted to collect their wards before 2.00 p.m. on 9^th December and 2.30 p.m. on 10^th December from the venue.

 

4. Those students who are participating only in field events (classes 6 to 12) must be in their House T-Shirts and white shorts.

 

5. Parents are requested to see that their wards are in proper sports uniform and clean shoes.

 

6. Every student must carry his own labelled big water bottle, a tiffin box and a cap.

 

7. Children must not litter the playground and adjoining areas with any packets or disposable items.

 

8. No student is allowed to carry mobile phone or any other electronic gadget to the ground. They should take care of all their belongings.

 

9. Parents of all the students are welcome to the Annual Sports Final and are requested to be seated at the venue by 9.45 a.m. on Saturday, 10^th December, 2011.

 

 

Children’s Day will be celebrated on Tuesday, 15^th November 2011 in the Vidya Mandir Auditorium.  The schedule is as under : 

For Classes VI, VII & VIII

NOTICE FOR CLASSES VI TO VIII

SUSPENSION OF AFTERNOON SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Afternoon Sports Activities will remain suspended for students of classes VI to VIII from 1^st November, 2011 to 8^th December, 2011 due to practice for Sports Day. Students will leave school at 2 p.m. on all working days during this period. Afternoon Sports Activities will resume from the week beginning on 12^th December, 2011.

 

Second International English Olympiad

The 2^nd International English Olympiad will be held on 19th January, 2012 in the school premises. [The venue and timing will be intimated in due course of time].

                       All students from class VI to XII are eligible to participate.
                       The registration fee is Rs.100.

Students who are interested are requested to collect and return the filled up student consent form along with the registration fee as per the following:
