Class III – X

Dear Parents,

Educational Initiatives is an educational research organization working in the field of school education.  We know them to be a reputed body proficient in diagnosing the learning skills of children.  They conduct a series of tests called the ASSET from class III to X in the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science.  These test are independent of a fixed syllabus and test the conceptual understanding of the students.

Last year we had made the ASSET optional for our students and the analysis of their results that we received interested us greatly and motivated us to make certain changes in our teaching practices.  This year we would like all our students to compulsorily take this test so that each student understands her strengths and weaknesses and how learning takes place in her individual case and the school too benefits from the subsequent analysis.

I am sure that as parents you too would be interested to know your child’s understanding of concepts and her ability to think laterally.

You are therefore, required to send Rs.300/- (for English, Mathematics and Science) with the tear off slip to your daughter’s  class teacher by 18th April 2008.

Yours sincerely,

S. Bose
